A Note of Joy: Henry Winkler’s Arrival at Buttons Sound

Excitement filled the air at Buttons Records as we eagerly anticipated the arrival of Henry Winkler for ADR dubbing from NYC on HBO’s hit show, Barry. The buzz among the talent we’d previously recorded was palpable; they couldn’t help but express their admiration for working with Henry. Their sentiments added an extra layer of anticipation to the already thrilling prospect of recording this iconic actor.
Then, the day we’d all been waiting for finally arrived. Henry Winkler was scheduled for ADR, and the studio was abuzz with energy. Later that same day, another talented individual graced our studio—Sarah Goldberg, also there for ADR dubbing from NYC. Her enthusiasm was infectious, and she couldn’t contain her excitement. Sarah even asked if she could leave a note for Henry, a request we gladly accepted.
The magic happened when Henry discovered Sarah’s heartfelt note. His joy was palpable, and it became evident that Henry’s magnetic personality had a positive impact on everyone on the set. In a delightful turn of events, we had the pleasure of meeting Henry’s wife, adding to the joyous atmosphere at Buttons Sound.
In an industry where enduring marriages are a rare find; it was heartening to witness the strength of Henry’s Hollywood marriage. This resonated with me personally, celebrating 35 years of marriage myself. It’s moments like these that make our work at Buttons Records not just about capturing sound but also about creating connections and memories.
Sincerely,
Rich
