The difference between my feature, "Still Green" before vs after Rich and his team tackeled the sound design was day and night. He took the time to really understand the tone for each scene. He went above and beyond when one of the actresses was unavailable for ADR. Rich called one of his personal VO actress friends and the next thing we knew, we had spot on ADR that no one knew wasn't the lead actress, including the lead actress herself. He also had a great personality. It was our first feature and took two drastically different cuts before we settled, leaving Rich to mix the sound and design it not once but twice.
