CREATIVE: Dialogue edit, live action sound design, and final mix delivered for film festival theatrical performance.
PROJECT SCOPE: Produce audio post production for Film Festival Performance.
TEAM: Supervising Sound editor/ Rerecording mixer
PROCESS: Film turn-over from picture editor were delivered with clip gain mixing by editor. These clip gain mixing needed to be coalesced, as the gain reference was not broadcast standard.
Dog Voice narration ws recorded and edited with director to capture the intended dog voice vision.
Sound edit proceeded to level out and clean up on screen dialogue, by using numerous sound edit / mix techniques that lower background off camera distracting dialogue to clarify on camera dialogue. Inconsistant background ambiences were lowered and new ambiances were added to smooth out scenes to bring scene audio focus to on camera dialogue.
Final mix was completed in 5.1 and dowmixed to broadcast LTRT at -24 broadcast standard. with negative transient peak control of -6.
Audio post schedule was very demanding, while music composition was being finalized as time allotted for delivery flexible.
